Case Studies
TOTO Smart Toilet
The Intolet is inspired by the features of Toto. Toto toilet is one of the smartest toilets in the world. It uses sensors to maximize the experience of the users such as the toilet seat and the bidet. Toto also uses water from hand washing, and recycles it for the next flush. The team identified the problems present in Toto. We revised the design of the toilet to make it more ergonomic and accessible to disadvantaged people. Intolet also applied another system to recycle water by installing rain water tanks.

QR Code and Scanner
Intolet utilized QR Code as its identifier for the smart meter to read. To address the identification of the user for public Intolet, the user must register an account using the website and/or application. After the registration, Intolet portal will provide a unique QR code for each person. The users must indicate if he/she is a disadvantaged person and they must also supply the information of their concerned medical practitioners or concerned people. The users may modify the settings of the stool diagnosis depending on how often they want to receive information about their health.

Interface or Vacuum Valve
This technology will serve as the Intolet sewage maintenance. In order to keep the Intolet clean and to get accurate stool diagnosis, these are installed to remove the stool and urine residue in the pipes. This valve uses vacuum and suction system pulled by gravity to easily collect all the sewage inside the Intolet.

The benefits of Intolet
One of the benefits of Intolet is to allow users to monitor and to track their health condition in any given time or place. Intolet also provides a convenient way to get your stool diagnosis. Additionally, it engages people to be more environmental by conserving and recycling water. Ultimately, the goal of the Intolet is to reinforce the users to maintain a healthy diet.

Impact

George sign up on the Intolet website or application to get a unique Intolet QR Code. (He even tattoo it on his hand)

George enters the toilet and suprise to see the toilet seat open by itself.

George scans his cool QR code tattoo (just a sticker) and Intolet identifies the user and adjusts its user setting.

George uses the toilet and plays his favorite rock band music.

George remembers to flush the toilet, and his stool gets scanned by the smart meter.

George did not forget to wash his hands using the recycled rain water.

George is very happy of his stool diagnosis, and shares it to the world on Facebook.

Third World Countries : Opportunities

The Intolet can be mobilized as a whole smart restroom. Intolet can be attached to water supply and sewage pipes to make it more portable similar to ‘portalets’. This restroom is solar-powered with a water tank supply. Given this opportunity, it can be brought to less fortunate countries that do not have sufficient access to health assistance. Medical practioners can use this invention to give diagnosis and checkups to remote countries and provinces. Although Intolet provides microsolution, mobilizing smart (restroom) toilets can give remedies for global issues such as malnutrition.
